Snooker table room size guide
Hi there, Below are some things to consider when buying a full size snooker table for your home:
If you are thinking about investing in a full size snooker table the first and most important consideration is: Do I have a room big enough?
As you are probably aware a full size snooker table is 12ft long by 6ft wide, this means that to play comfortably you should think about having a room that is at least 22ft long by 16ft wide. This will give you 5ft all of the way around meaning you can play any shot even if the cue ball is tight on the cushion.
Another important consideration is the weight of the table. The total weight of a full size table is approximately 1270 kg which means that it may be unsafe on an upper level.
If your room is not this big then there are plenty of smaller tables that could fit the bill. You can buy slate snooker tables in all sorts of sizes nowadays. PjnSports has Tables in 6ft, 7ft, 8ft, 9ft, 10ft and 12ft.
Another major consideration when buying a pool or snooker table for your home is price. There is a multitude of different sizes, and grades of pool and snooker tables with prices starting from as little as £50 going all the way up to £15,000!
