Basement Finishing Cost Per Sq Ft

Cost to finish my basement?

I already have a bathroom and need 514 sq ft finished. Part being a rec room and another a bedroom. Not studded or insulated. Ceiling is 8ft and drywall can go to ceiling as furnace is upstairs. anyone know a good cost per sq ft amount that is pretty universal?

Is the ceiling already finished?
How are you planning on attaching the drywall?
What about lighting?
How old is the house if it’s a newer home then it has a vapor barrier beneath the floor and you can paint the floor. Painting concrete is the “thing” right now.
What interior studding do you need done and a door to the bedroom.
Remember to double the rock needed for the interior wall.
What about electric?
Are the windows sufficient?
And reconsider the no insulation thought.
You should insulate even if you use the foam sheets.
Cost of materials varies from place to place. For 500 Sq feet 50 boards will cost about 500$
With all else if you are doing it solely yourself as a very general (cheap) estimate I would say 2000 to 3000. More if you add tiles or a rug.
Don’t forget there is paint tape plaster sockets fixtures trim involved too. All the little costs add up.
