Basement Floor Jacks
Can we put a shower in the basement? We have a 1/2 bath and have room to break through the laundry room wall?
The laundry room drain is about 4 feet from where the shower drain will be. Can we jack hammer the concrete floor and run a drain pipe directly to the laundry room drain? Is this to code?
Yes you can, you will have to break up the concrete from the shower to find the sewer line and tie in. Easiest to tie in close to the existing toilet instead of going to the washer drain. There should be a 4″ sewer line right there,Yes that would be to code.
