Buying A Frank Lloyd house?
So me and my family are moving, well planning too move. And we saw a house that was inspired but Frank Lloyd’s design in architecture. We really love the house, but it doesn’t have like many rooms; The master bedroom is like TOO big. Honestly, my parents were thinking of splitting it up by adding a wall in between if we buy the house. Also, the other bedroom has like no door which is kind of odd. But anyways it also has another bedroom in the first floor and another office that could be a bedroom but might be a little too small. It is very beautiful and uniquely built, but it doesn’t have a basement either. Do you think we should buy the house?
No, don’t buy the house. What you basically want is a house that is stylish on the outside but chopped up and functional on the inside. Go buy something in a suburban development, where there are lots of vacant houses just like that.
One of the things you get when you buy as “designer” house is the design. And if you don’t like that, getting rid of it will just reduce the resale value of the house.
