The box will stick out and look unsightly, serving no other purpose except to keep pipes out of sight. A protruding thingy is also unsafe; someone is bound to bump into it at some point and stumble or get hurt.
Go for Colors. Colors can make or unmake a basement. It can transform a dingy, uninviting room into a comfortable place where the family can rest and relax. Learning about the effect of colors on a room’s atmosphere will help you choose a suitable one for the different areas in a multi-functional basement. Warm colors containing the primaries red and yellow are good for larger rooms and have a stimulating effect. Cool colors such as green or blue are ideal for bedrooms to evoke a feeling of calm and tranquility.
