Breakout Arcade Game
How do I edit Tetris to make a Breakout or Pong mobile game?
My lecturer said it was possible to edit the Java MIDlet code of Tetris and create another arcade game like Breakout or Pong easily.
I have tried so hard to work out how and what to change but I can’t find out. Plus it is Easter weekend so I have to wait another week to ask him. (I have Gaming lessons on a Monday)
Any help would be great. I’m studying my 1st year of a degree and understand how to do this will be the icing on the cake 
The idea is that you look at the code and steal the bits that you need. You’ll need a score counter, something to draw and move blocks. Keyboard inputs to move around. Timers and possibly threads. Everything will be installed inside a game loop. All of this is already in there.
