Business is out of NH. It is a finished basement company{llc}.
Homeowner destroyed our work and we had him sign paper stating he did so and we are not liable for the damage. He apologized and we continued. As we were about to install the wood laminate flooring we walked in to yet another mess and he demanded us to leave all materials and install the flooring without him signing another waiver. We said we could not do that. We would have to first fix the mess then finish as well as signing the waiver to go along with the pictures we took of the damage he caused. He refused and cancelled the check he issued us according to the contract.
He is suing us. preceedings have begun. We want to countersue for the amount owed and fees etc. Is it too late???
