Finished Basements Cost
How much should a finished basement cost for 870 sq/ft?
I have a large basement I want to have finished. There is about 870sq ft to be done. I had a contractor come in and estimate it and it was more then I thought, but I liked the system. From your experience, how much should this cost? Any ’systems’ that you recommend? Thanks!
We just finished a basement with that same square footage. My husband ordered everything from Home Depot and did most of the work himself but had to have a professional come in to hang and finish the drywall, ceilings, bathroom etc. Of course, Home Depot also laid the carpet. This took a long time and cost over $10,000 still. You can check pricing with several contractors before making a decision but they probably will all be competitive.
