I am having my flat screen lcd tv moved from my living room to the family room (right next to eachother) and i was wondering what exactly i need to do and who to call to come hook and mount and set everything up and what i need to buy. I have an at&t u-verse cable box, dvd player ( i hope to replace it with a blu ray player) a nintendo wii, and an Xbox 360. i am wondering where do all the cables go to reach the tv on the wall? i plan to use a receiver but i am not sure what it needs to have to support my cable box and dvd player and such. so please tell me what i need to buy, what kind of reciever i should buy and who i should call for mounting, and installation.
Buy a receiver with hdmi switching and hdmi conversion. Try the yamaha rx-v365-765 series. Then you only need one hdmi cable to the tv. Everything else runs to the receiver.
