Game Room Organization
How can I clean/organize my room?
I am trying to do a little spring cleaning, and right now it is horrible. I am really busy right now, like school, softball, and marching band, plus whatever my mom has me doing. So I need a lot of organization. Most of the things are out of place, mostly because they don’t have a spot. I need a place to put burned cds without cases, books, binders, pc games, sports equipment, and a lot of other things HELP! Answers would really be appreciated. Thank you!
I saw a suggestion about another cleaning suggestion that I liked and that was to put things where they belong. Grab yourself a couple of boxes and label them for areas in your room such as “bookshelf,” “desk,” “stereo,” “computer,” “sheet music,” etc. That way, you’ll know exactly where to put odds and ends that you clearly need and have a use for.
For the things that you seriously don’t know what to do with, put them into a miscellaneous box in your room. As your room gets more organized, you may find spots to put them, or just decide to get rid of them all together.
If possible, try working on your room a couple times a week, even if it’s just for 15-20 minutes. Put on some fun tunes, and even challenge yourself to see how much you can get done after X amount of songs. You can even do this between commercials while watching tv or during a study break. Once you have the smaller things more organized, you can work on the bigger things such as laundry, dusting, and vacuuming.
