Gasoline Water Pump
what would happen to gasoline if you could oxygenate it before it enters the fuel system of a vehicle?
similar to a fish tank when you put a air pump supply into a tank it will oxygenate the water for the fish. what if you did the same thing only in a gas tank of a vehicle sealed of course so the vapores could not excape . so that the vapores and the pure oxygen would combust in the cylinders insted of raw gas?
Some kinds of marine applications used oxygenated gas – torpedoes, for instance. The problem with exhaust is not the source or quantity of oxygen, but the combustion itself. You are still left with O2 and other stuff. Now, if you put a tight control on the gases involved in combustion and can eliminate the presence of nitrogen gas, then NOx emissions would be eliminated, which is a good thing. But, you will still have copious amounts of CO2 and other minor pollutants from the gas that have to go somewhere.
