Blackbirds and a War Movie?
Harry Plum, a fruit farmer from Georgia, was waging war against the blackbirds that were sampling his cherry crop. One day Harry noticed 16 blackbirds dining on his favorite cherry tree. Determined to teach the birds a lesson they wouldn’t soon forget, he got out his shotgun and blasted away at them. Although Harry only managed to hit one of the birds, he did succeed in blowing it clean out of the tree. How many birds are now left in the tree?
Sid Shady asked his wife to accompany him to a war movie being featured that night. During a scene when grenades were exploding and guns were firing, Shady decided the time was right; he pulled out a gun and shot his wife. He then took her out of the theatre without anyone tying to stop him and went home. Why not?

They thought he was an actor or it was a gimmic.
It could also be because he was holding a gun and you don’t mess with a dude that holds your life in his hands.
