Anyone know how much a home theater installer makes in the Houston, TX area? Just checking to see if this would be a good job.
It depends on your skill level. A typical installer will only make between 30K-50K a year for entry level. If you are proficents and have certifications you can make up to 80K a year (check out Cedia.net for certifications and training). If you are a good programmer and can program advanced home automation systems like crestron and AMX, you can easily make over 100K if you are motivated.
