La Z Boy custom ordered home theatre recliners?
I have a custom ordered recliner from Lazyboy and it cost me $3,300. I bought it in October and now Costco is carrying the same kind of recliner + power recline+ high quality leather meaning a lot of bells and whistles for $1225+tax. And I am feeling very sad that I paid such a lot for a normal sofa just for the brand name. Please give me some suggestions to justify my purchase and feel okay about it…..
I also want to know what the return policy is, if someone has returned a piece of furniture at Lazyboy.

One thing to mull over…if Lazy-boy has say a 10% restocking fee for cancelled orders it would cost you $330 to get out of that deal. add that to the Costco price and you have around say $1700 including tax. Costco has a fabulous return policy for purchases even years after purchased- Lazy-boy will have a strict time and restrictions.
You should check whether there is any Vinyl or even split-hide leather anywhere on either piece- if one has none and the other does go with the one with none, regardless of the price.
Costco has strict policies for quality in the furniture lines- when they started carrying furniture they knew nothing about it and sold crap- tons of returns- now they have much higher grades.
I hope this just gives you some things to have to make an educated descison as to which way to go, and doesnt bum you out.

-Addition; I went to Costco and looked at the Theatre recliner set they had- if its the Berkline set do not go with it, stick with your lazy-boy order- the berkline is leather and vinyl and will not last.
