Ideas For Basement Remodeling
What is your opinion on installing a rock climbing wall in the playroom for my 2 year old?
We are remodeling the basement and I am trying to think of some creative ideas for my 2 year old that won’t clutter the space. So far I know I am going to use 1/2 of one wall to do a chalkboard paint. The other wall I was thinking about installing a rock climbing wall. They sell the pieces to install them on ebay.
Of course there is always the chance she could fall and get hurt, but I’m sure we can come up with something…maybe put a helmet on her when she uses it. Keep in mind, the wall will only go up about 4-5 feet so it’s not like she will be climbing high. What do you think?
Also, any other suggestions on creative things to install? We aren’t looking for toys to clutter the space, so please keep that in mind. My last idea was to buy a tent. The kind you twist to setup and take down.
Haha! Oh wow lucky kid! You could always put crash mats down, to break the fall if she does take a tumble. Ikea have some fab stuff for kids rooms too. Tunnels to crawl through (which fold flat) a swing (which is secured by a bracket in the ceiling) etc. Not sure of the web address so you’d have to google. Prices very reasonable too
