How trustworthy are these internet/ data entry jobs ?

I come across many Advts regarding internet jobs. Can we belive these, I doubt the advrtisers would take money and mislead us.
Are Such jobs exist in reality? If yes can any one help me & give details as i want to that job in free time.

That’s funny, because I just watched something on the local news about an hour ago about those internet/work from home jobs. They tested them out, and NONE of them came through.

Anyone that promises a salary that is too good to be true, is willing to hire you without an interview (or at least an application with a reference), or requires you to pay them money in order to work for them, is a scam.

The way those things work is several ways:

1. You pay them money to receive a “business guide” or “access to the employee website” or something like that. They take the money, and you either receive inadequate business products, or else the site will mysteriously “close down”, you will hear nothing back from them, or they will give you things to “do” and then never pay you.

2. They send you a cashiers check in the mail for a given amount (we’ll say $1,000). you are told to take $200 as your sign-on bonus, and then wire the remaining $800 back to them, or to someone else, to receive you employee information. The funds for the check will become available immediatly, but it usually takes a week to verify the validity of a cashiers check. So while the check is pending, you wire them $800, and spend your $200. When it comes back that the check was faulty, the bank holds YOU responsible for the full $1,000 (since the third party who gave you the check is untrackable).

So no….those types of jobs don’t exist in real life. There are some companies who will hire you to do work for them, and you can telecommute. But those companies will require a full application/resume with interview, not just a sign-up sheet.

there are also survey websites where you take surveys and get paid, but the amount of money you make taking surveys is about $10 a month, they may not actually pay you, and some of them require payment in order to “unlock” the surveys.
