What’s the best may to move a 40 inch LCD TV?
I moving in a couple of months over seas and I need a good idea for shipping my new tv. I’m going overseas so a moving company will be moving it and I can’t be there to babysit it on it way there. Are there any special boxes they make? I have seen one but it was almost $800. I don’t want to spend this much.
I wouldn’t spend that much either…but you do need a box to ship it in….
Go to your local Box store that sells electronics, Get a box for your TV set there….
And if necessary, you may just get a box Close enough and purchase those giant bubble pads used in shipping….
Then use ONE quilt to pad it first and stuff the bubble pads around it so it doesn’t shift back and forth in the box…..
The KEY is to protect the LCD panel from IMPACT !
Even building a protective screen using LEXAN and Velcro from a lumberyard , THEN wrapping it with a quilt is better protection. Then placing it in a cardboard box with those bubble pads is SMART !
