Is cheap Formula OK to feed my Baby??
When our now 7 month old son Brendyn was born 5 weeks premature I began pumping around the clock in the NICU to give him the best milk possible. After about a month I gave up trying to get him to nurse and just continued to pump and lose sleep. After about 3 months of this he didn’t act content on my milk was spitting up constantly had gas all the time and I was exhausted so I began research on the next best thing FORMULA.
I always wanted to feed our children Breast milk cause you know what they say Breast is Best but every time we have a baby, although I hate the idea of paying for milk that my body naturally produces, in the end I give up and buy the Formula. With our first Son I bought Enfamil A&R and got along great except for having to pay for it, going through a can a week at roughly $23 a can got very expensive.
Well, he loved it!! He stopped spitting up, no more gas, no more stomach aches and the best part this little boy is doing extremely well on it! At 6 months he weighed 20.2# and don’t forget he was a preemie!! He was in the top 97% in height and 92% on weight!! Oh and that chart is not a preemie chart, that is a chart for a baby born at term!!
I am so happy I decided to try the Wal-Mart brand milk I will definitely recommend it to everyone!! I still believe Breast is best but sometimes that is just not in the cards. And in this economy buying 2 cans of Formula for the price of one Brand name is just what the doctor ordered!!
