Is ther a law in California Housing that garage floors have to be slanted?
Hello 
Im in the middle of buying a house which is being built, the garage floor is going to be built slanted, is there any law that mandates for garage floors must be slanted and not flat? to me is a waste of space to use the garage to store cars, i would love to put a Gym in there and maybe a foosball table or pool table, that’s why I would like for the garage to be flat.
Can anyone shed some light on this?

The garage floor is made with a slight slant so that water will drain out of the garage,and not puddle inside. Unless you live on a steep hill, I see no reason you couldn’t put a pool table in, most tables have adjustable legs to level the table.
