can anyone tell me why i cant get my pump pressure up?
can any one tell my why my pool pump cant hold pressure? it was fine a few days ago, and we have not changed anything, and now the pressure will get to about 5 and then drop back to 0. any help would be great!! thanks
thank you both! everything is clean and the gage is correct. i will have to check the lines for blockage. again thank you both.
and i dont have any pressure on back wash either
Assuming you gage is accurate, here is a few things to look at:
How is your backwash pressure ???
Check the skimmer basket and the pump basket for any debris
If those are clear
Cheek the impeller for any obstruction ………little things like pine needles and other things can get through and clog the veins
If that is ok
Check your diverter
Push-pull or multiport which ever you have may have a bad gasket or o-ring.
If that is ok
It could be an obstruction in the piping.
