Samsung Flat Screen Lcd
New flat screen monitor, new horrible resolution. Need help fixing it!?
We just bought a Samsung flat screen monitor and every image looks HORRIBLE and distorted. Pictures and text look grainy and images that were square in shape now look rectangular. We have tried ALL the basic things, including changing the resolution, which just makes the images too small or too large while the crappy quality remains the same. I was just wondering if anyone has had this problem or has any idea how to fix it. I thought that the LCD screen would have better quality image than our old monitor, but apparently not! Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
You might have to install the drivers for the LCD display so it would work. Your pc through the video card is still sending data trought the video out ports as if the old display were installed. The new device might need some drivers installed to enable windows to use it properly. There should be a cd that came with the new display. Or you could find the device’s drivers from the manufacturer’s web site at the support page.
