Submersible Well Pump Replacement
submersible well pump replacement how do you do it?
My submersible well pump developed a hole in the pipe where it connected to the 150 foot length of black PVC tubing that runs up to the well head. So water was being pumped out of the hole and right back into the well again. The pump was actually running ok after 25 years of service, but I had the well service replace it anyways since they had to pull the pump out of the well to fix the hole in the pipe. The cost was $1,000 dollars, and I thought it was well worth it after seeing the two repairmen manually pull the pump out of the well. I know I couldn’t have done it myself quick enough to get the water back in service soon enough, and I do a lot of jobs around the house.
