What is the fastest, most efficient way to clean an Inn of 6 bedrooms.?
Since the down turn of the economy I have had to tighten my belt and have let the chamber attendants for the Inn go. Now I need to formulate a cleaning and upkeep game plan for an Inn of 6 bedrooms, 3 parlors, 1 grand dining room, a working kitchen and 8 bathrooms. Thankfully I do still have a part timer to help me. Fortunately because it is an Inn, it gets cleaned constantly so that its never really “dirty”. In the bedrooms the linens and towels get replaced daily. Can anyone help me come up with an effective plan of attack? Thank you.
Hiring help is not an option since this is an economically based situation. Unfortunately there are no local family members.
If there are efficiency experts out there with real, viable suggestions, I would love to hear from you.
Ok that’s a bit of a challenge if there are only two of you doing all the cleaning and one is only part time. I would suggest that you revise your policy of changing the sheets and towels daily. Put a small polite notice in each bathroom asking the guests to leave any towels in shower tray that they require to be changed. (This is commonplace in UK hotels for environmental reasons. ) Then change the sheets every other day where the guest is in residence for more than one night.
