Xbox 360 Game Room Achievements
Xbox Achievements Gone?
Last Tuesday I had to unplug my Xbox 360 so that we could paint my room. Today I repluged everything correctly and turned on my Xbox with no problem. I then proceeded to play Medal of Honor and started to unlock the same achievement over and over again. I checked my achievement menu and all of my Medal of Honor achievements were gone, but none of my other games were. Also, the achievements added up equaled 0G. I tried recovering my gamertag and turning off the Xbox with no success. NOW all my achievements are completely gone for all games, and I have no idea why. If there’s no fix then I guess it’s not the end of the world, but is anyone having a similar experience or have a fix? I guess I’ll email Xbox support???
Maybe your profile got corrupt. Delete it from your 360 (you don’t have to delete your saves), and do a Recover Gamertag to pull a fresh copy from the Xbox servers. That’ll give you a fresh copy that should work properly.
If that doesn’t fix it, then check the zone on your gamertag. It’s might have been changed to “Cheater”. What you’re experiencing sounds like what happens when your gamerscore gets reset to 0; existing achievements will keep unlocking but never count, and only new achievements are counted.
