Xbox Game Room Setup
What would be the best audio setup for my entertainment system?
I am almost complete with my entertaining needs. I have a 62″ LCD TV, xbox 360, wii, but now I need great audio. What do you suggest. I know I want surround sound, but I get confused and lost when people start talking about receivers and this and that.My living room is a small 100 sq ft. I am also really into online gaming. I love Call of Duty and can’t think of anything better that the loud boom of a frag gernade rumbling through the house. So what would you suggest for me. Thanks.
For speakers I would take a look at the Aperion 4T Hybrid or the Aperion 4B harmony system, other brands to take a look at for less money would be Energy; Boston Acoustics; and Polk Audio for receivers I would look into an Onkyo TX SR508 or the Onkyo TX SR608 or possibly the Denon AVR 791 sub-woofers either the Aperion PSB HSU or Velodyne.
